  • The hogfest of spending mostly came under President Bush. I agree that we need to cut spending too but I think we should start with a repeal of the Patriot Act. More money has been spent on that than any entitlement program out there

  •  I think if the Republicans want a government shutdown they should lose thier paychecks until they feel like working. I think it is an utter shame and disgrace that they are even talking about this before the new congress has even taken office.

  • Joe the plummer is a liar !!! I don't think that it is a big leap to say that he is a a McCain plant. The guy walked up to Obama on the campaign trail and asked him a question completely based on lies. A few days later at the debate McCain brings Joe up.

  • As an African American female I don't think that the comment "that one" was racist just a  disrespectful. I think that McCain and Palin's whole line of attack comes from. He's younger, inexperienced, and doesn't deserve my respect as a candidate for the Presidency of the United States.
